Pinedale’s oldest and longest standing cultural event is held annually the second weekend in July. The historic celebration includes the Green River Rendezvous Pageant, a re-enactment of an authentic rendezvous in full costume to give a live performance of this unique time in American history, a vendor street fair, rodeos, Museum of the Mountain children programming, tours and demonstrations, a kids’ fishing derby, a Northern Arapaho Native American dance, a fireworks show, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a parade, and a downtown full of live music makes this one of Wyoming's biggest summer events. f you plan to visit Pinedale during the Green River Rendezvous, make lodging plans well in advance. Many events take place outdoors, so bring a hat and water bottle, sunblock, good walking shoes and plenty of mountain man spirit!
