Gardiner, Montana

Gardiner is located in the heart of Yellowstone's Northern Range, at the junction of the Gardner and Yellowstone Rivers. We are surrounded by the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness to the east, the Gallatin Wilderness to the north and west, and the world's first and most famous national park, Yellowstone National Park, to the south. This area is home to the most diverse herds of large wildlife species in the lower 48 states including bison, bighorn sheep, elk, pronghorn, grizzly bears, black bears, wolves, and deer.

While we do not have any big box stores here, we are a full service town: we have a grocery store, gift shops, outdoor equipment sales and rentals, a full service auto and RV repair shop, pharmacy, bookstore and members who can assist you with such things as auto-glass repair and welding. To find out more, go to our Directorylocated in the top menu.

Accommodations are readily available in Gardiner and the surrounding area. Gardiner retains its small town Montana feel and we have a wide selection of hotels, motels, cabins or vacation home rentals and bed & breakfasts available for your dream vacation!

Gardiner also has plenty of places to stop for a simple, tasty bite to eator a relaxing sit-down dinner.

If you are curious about all our members have to offer, including: outdoor adventure packages such as fishing, horseback riding, backpacking, whitewater rafting, lama pack trips, zipline packages or hunting guides, please go to our directory page for places to eat, stay and play in Gardiner, and our sister “town” just up the hill - Jardine, the Gallatin National Forest and Yellowstone National Park!
