Norris Geyser Basin Museum

This trail-side museum in Yellowstone National Park was built in 1930 and is a national Historic Landmark. The museum houses exhibits presenting information about the geothermal features in the Porcelain Basin and Back Basin and is staffed by Yellowstone naturalists. It is also the trailhead of the two trail systems serving the basins.

The Norris Geyser Basin is as spectacular as the geysers around Old Faithful and less crowded in the summer.
