National Elk Refuge

The National Elk Refuge has been providing tremendous year-round wildlife viewing opportunities in the Jackson Hole area for over 100 years. During the winter months, visitors can ride horse-drawn sleighs to mingle with wintering elk and bison. Shed antlers are collected by Boy Scouts and auctioned in Jackson Town Square the Saturday preceding Memorial Day.
