Elkhorn State Park is located in the Elkhorn Mountains northeast of Boulder. Two buildings, Fraternity Hall and Gillian Hall, are nestled within the privately owned town of Elkhorn. Both buildings represent outstanding examples of frontier architecture.
Enjoy bicycling, hiking, photography, wildlife viewing, and history as you explore this 19th century mining landscape. The park is unstaffed and the only public areas in the town are the two buildings that compose the State Park. Just above the two buildings is a public cemetery.
