Bill Cody Ranch

We are a Western Guest Ranch offering everything a dude ranch offers but without the 7-day stay requirement. As a full service resort, we offer a variety of family activities and the flexibility that allows you to choose and do what you want, when you want.

Our main focus is on our spectacular mountain trail riding. Your horse will be selected just for you from a herd of over 80, the saddle will be adjusted to fit you, and trails will be chosen to give you the maximum in scenic variety. Our cookout rides are kept small so you will not be riding with 20 other people! You do not have to be an accomplished rider to enjoy our trail rides; the majority of our first time guests have never been on a horse before. We offer more challenging rides for experienced riders. Since it is mountain trail riding, all of our rides are done at a walk.

For those who love fishing, there is plenty of blue ribbon water nearby that provides some of the most spectacular fishing in North America. You can also enjoy hiking, photography, entertainment by the campfire or just relaxing on the front porch of your cabin while the nearby creek serenades you. The town of Cody offers the rodeo seven nights a week (June-August), river rafting and the famous Buffalo Bill Historical Center. Our cabins are modern but rustic with hand-made western furniture, king or queen sized beds, tub and shower combination bathrooms; all are non-smoking.

There are no restrictions on your stay at the Bill Cody Ranch, and you may check in or out on any day. We are flexible and can put together a vacation package to meet your needs. Your stay with us can be on nightly rate, a package rate, or a combination of the two rates. Whether you visit for one night or a week we want your stay here to be the highlight of your vacation!
