62nd Northern Arapaho Indian Powwow

The town of Arapahoe will host the 62nd Northern Arapaho Indian Powwow, Wyoming’s oldest native American Powwow at the Arapahoe Powwow Grounds (near the Left Hand Ditch Road and Sharp Nose Road intersection.) This is the ultimate Indian cultural experience with hundreds of dancers competing in full colorful regalia while dancing to the haunting beats of live drum groups. Dancer Grand Entry times:

Friday, Sept. 2: 7pm Grand Entry.

Saturday, Sept. 3: 1pm Hand Drum Contest, 4pm Grand Entry

Sunday, Sept. 4: 10am parade, 1pm feast, 2pm Grand Entry

Sample tasty Indian foods and take home one-of-a-kind traditional beaded arts and other unique Indian crafts from the many tribal vendors.
